You can go to conquer the waves on the Mediterranean coast. Very popular spots can be found in Andalusia, in Cadiz and Tariff. However, the waves here are quite low, and therefore only suitable for those who are just learning to stand on the board. Professionals should go to the Canary Islands, Tenerife, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura. You can go to the islands at any time of the year. In  winter, professionals will be fighting with the waves on the coast of Tenerife. Beginners will feel themselves more comfortable in Lanzarote. In Andalusia, Murcia and Catalonia, windsurfing is popular too. You can ride a board with a sail on the beaches of Tarifa, Almeria, and Pontevedra. In the central part of the country, you can windsurf in El Atazar and San Juan near Madrid. Copyright www.orangesmile.com

Ski lovers will also find entertainment in Spain. Sierra Nevada, is the center of winter recreation in the country. The name of the formation means ‘the snow ridge’. The mountain chain embraces a small town of Pradollano, where there is a large number of hotels, rental offices and even a ski kindergarten. The tracks at the resort are more suitable for professionals; they have an increased level of complexity. You can not only go skiing, but also snowboarding in a big snow park or competing in parallel slalom or freestyle. The resort also offers tourists great opportunities for entertainment, including SPA, nightclubs, and restaurants. Fans of new sensations can ride a dog sled.
Spain has a very mild climate, which allows tourists to go for hiking and bike tours virtually all the year round. One of the most popular walking directions is the limestone mountains in Cantabria in the north of the country. Trails run through the Picos de Europa National Park, where you can meet a large number of different animals. Another classic tour is the Camino de Santiago, or the Way of St. James. The road passes through the pilgrimage route and is included in the number of World Heritage sites by UNESCO. In Alicante, cycling routes are laid along picturesque places along the sea coast. Travelers will be able not only to enjoy nature and sights, but also to relax on the Mediterranean coast.
