One of the most unusual attractions of the resort is the aquarium Cap-Blanc. It was equipped in a natural grotto, which several hundred years ago was used for breeding fish and lobster. In 1989, this cave was equipped with an aquarium. Its visitors can see a lot of rare species of fish and other inhabitants of the sea depths. There is also a grouper, rare species of sea turtles, as well as crustaceans and sea stars. In the aquarium, there are cognitive excursions, including excursions for children.
In the immediate vicinity of Ibiza, there is a unique historical village Balafia - a real open-air museum. In this village, there are only seven dwelling houses and beautiful watchtowers preserved on its territory. At the top of one of the towers, a cross was preserved. Locals believed that it helps to drive away evil spirits from the village. Hundreds of years ago, the coastal territory was often attacked by pirates and Turkish conquerors, which prompted locals to build numerous defensive structures. In addition to the fortification towers in this village, there are also underground shelters, in which locals hid from the conquerors.
For fans of cultural entertainment, in the resort is a very interesting Ethnographic Museum. It is located in an incredibly beautiful historic building. Previously, this villa belonged to one of the richest families on the island. Among the exhibits of the museum are traditional costumes of locals, household items and decorations, works of local artisans and musical instruments. In the old villa, there is also a wine cellar which has also been converted to a theme hall. In it, visitors are told how wine was made on the island in the past. The museum often hosts exhibitions of contemporary art and entertainment.
