To climb to it, you need to overcome the staircase, which has 144 steps. This monastery has been visited by pilgrims from all over the world for hundreds of years. If you believe the legend, at the top of the hill there is a cave in which Saint Potapia lived. Currently, there are about 40 nuns in the convent. If you believe the legends, Andrey Pervozvanny hid in this cave from the pursuing Roman troops.
In the city is located the beautiful Saint Marina’s Monastery. It is located near the balneological center. It is a very beautiful and peaceful monastery, which in the warm season literally drowns in the thick foliage of trees and exotic plants. Walking through the territory of this monastery, you can admire the huge pine trees, whose age is more than a hundred years.
