La Palma is considered one of the most colorful Canary Islands. Travelers are attracted here not only by wonderful beaches but also by its special authentic atmosphere. Despite the fact that more and more tourists visit the island every year, this does not really affect the lifestyle of local people. Some of them are a few hundred years old, such durable houses were once built from fossilized lava without any additional binders. The thickness of the walls in the old buildings can reach 1 meter, it is surprising that even now people continue to live in such unusual houses. It is noteworthy that the petrified lava is now one of the main values of the island.
