1. Travelers are advised to carry with them a copy of their passport and a map of the hotel. This will help to avoid a lot of hassles and to resolve any disputes easily. It is required to assure a copy of the passport in the hotel.

4. Before photographing local people, be sure to ask them for permission. The city has banned photography and filming of strategic facilities; you also shouldn’t take pictures of government and military officials.
6. In restaurants and cafes it is customary to leave a tip that is usually 5 - 10% of the total order. Even if a service charge is included in the total amount, you still have to leave a small monetary reward for a waiter. It's enough to round the resulting amount up to any convenient sum.
7. Tourists, who expect to use public transport actively, have to buy a special ticket. Usually, it is meant for 10 trips; tickets can be purchased at newsstands, post offices or in bars. In this case you may save up to 30%.
