The Brac island was inhabited in Antiquity. You can find a confirmation of this when going to the Skrip village. Here you can see not only agricultural buildings of different centuries and the church of St. Dir, built over two hundred years ago, but also ancient Roman bas-reliefs and tombstones, as well as an abandoned quarry where the Romans mined stones for the construction of the palace in Split. There is also the Archaeological Museum in the village. In addition to a rich collection of artifacts from the different eras, it has an eventful history of the building, in which it is located. The Radojkovic tower stands on the foundation of the Roman mausoleum, in which, according to legend, the wife of Emperor Diocletian of Priscus and Valeria, his daughter, are buried.

Feel the atmosphere of the Renaissance and New Times in Milna. This beautiful small town was founded in the 16th century and was home to retired captains of sea vessels for a long time. Supetar has preserved to this day in its original form the architecture of the 18th-19th centuries. Here you should pay attention to the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, inside which you can see the altar made by Felix Tironi and the organ created by Peter Nakis in 1737. The church is located on the foundation of the early Christian basilica of St. Peter, in honor of which the city was named. Near the church of St. Nicholas in the cemetery, you can find not only Neo-Byzantine mausoleum of the Petrinovic family but also two sarcophagi of the first Christians period. The San Martin church is located on the central square. It was built in the 18th century, and on the outskirts you can find the church of St. Luke, built in the 12th century.

The Dragon Cave in Murwitz is of greater interest to the travelers. This unique man-made object still attracts scientists from all over the world. In the manually created cave, there are many well-preserved bas-reliefs and drawings, where biblical motifs and images of angels coexist with figures of dragons, fairies and many other mythological creatures. The exact authorship and purpose of creating these works of art remain unclear, and therefore the cave is surrounded by a multitude of rumors and legends.

It is worthwhile to find time for visiting the Blatz Desert. The monastery, founded in the 16th century by monks, who fled from the Turkish dictatorship, was remarkably preserved. Until now, it remains a mystery, how its inhabitants managed to grow a rich crop on such unfruitful soil in difficult natural conditions. In the monastery itself, you can see not only a large collection of various books but also a collection of objects for astronomical research, collected by the hermit Don Nikol Milisiewic. For those, who are interested in local art, there is an exhibition of paintings by Croatian artists, which can be found in the town hall building of Bol town. In Bol there is also the Archaeological Museum with a rich exposition. You can find the museum in the building of the Dominican Monastery in the heart of the city.
