The village is the creation of Nestor de la Torre, a famous painter-symbolist who has created the Canary architectural style. In this park you can see wonderful nature of the Gran Canary Island. While walking in this park you can go to the Julio Navarro municipal swimming pool or Santa Catalina hotel that is equipped with a casino.
Visitors of Las Palmas are also offered to visit the museum of Pérez Galdós and museum of Nestor painter.
And, of course, we cannot fail to tell about Las-Canteras Beach, the most beautiful beach of the Canary Islands. This beach occupies the territory of 4 kilometers of gold sand separated from surf by an underwater reef.
