Accor Brings Its Mondrian Brand to Singapore

Accor will open the first Mondrian hotel in Singapore in early 2023. The new hotel will be located in the prestigious part of the city – the Duxton Hill neighborhood. To make this launch come true, the famous hotelier decided to partner with Craig Road Property Holdings. Accor has been very serious about the expansion of its Mondrian brand recently. The company announced a joint venture with Ennismore, willing to create one of the fastest-growing lifestyle operators in the world, and Mondrian hotels are a part of this deal.

The new Mondrian-branded hotel in Singapore will have 300 rooms and suites, as well as a restaurant and a lounge. The rooftop bar with gorgeous views of the city may become a new hot place to socialize. The design of the hotel is a combination of new and old. Traditional shophouses with their centuries-old look meet modern contemporary chic here. Aiming to be more than just accommodation and a place to eat, Mondrian hotel in Singapore wants to become a cultural hub for both locals and travelers.

Duxon Hill is a fantastic place to stay for all travelers who want to get the most from their stay in this city. This is a prestigious heritage area with lots of large and premium retail stores, Michelin-starred restaurants, legendary bars, and the best entertainment. As Duxon Hill is not far from the Central Business District, this hotel is suitable for business guests too.

Inspired by the traditional shophouse buildings, the new hotel will be opened in a three-story building with a terracotta roof and window shutters in the colonial style. All suites will be located in this building while standard rooms will be located in new tower housing. The restaurant, rooftop bar and swimming pool will be also opened here. Additionally, there will be one more bar with a special hidden entrance. The old and new buildings are close to each other as only a garden separates them.

Mondrian is a luxury lifestyle brand by Acor. By starting in Singapore, the hotelier plans to open more properties under this brand in South East Asia in the coming years. The Singapore hotel is among the first Mondrian hotels in the world. This year, Accor opens Mondrian Shoreditch hotel in London with hotels in Cannes and Bordeaux opening in 2022. The company also plans to announce new hotels in Germany, Puerto Rica, Switzerland, Thailand, and Vietnam soon.
