Songtsam Hotels Offers Wildlife Photography Course in Tibet

Are you out of ideas when it comes to the next vacation? Would you like to try something really unforgettable and unique? If yes, Songtsam Hotels and Resorts, a popular luxury hotel chain specializing in tours in Tibet and Yunnan Province, has prepared an interesting offer. The company’s hotel in Tibet will kick off a new wildlife photography course that starts this August. Made in the form of a camp, Youth Wildlife Photography Training will bring together some of the best master photographers in China.

Songtsam has already confirmed that Xi Zhinong, Peng Jiansheng, Yuan Minghui, and Zhang Chenghao will be holding photography masterclasses at the new camp. The opening of the wildlife photography course in Tibet became possible because of the partnership between the hotelier, Ideas Camp Education, and Wild China Film. This strategic cooperation will lead to the development of nature education and nature centers in Southeastern Tibet.

The Chinese Wildlife Photography Training Camp will officially open in August 2021. This will be the 17th time that Wild China Film launches this youth education course. Such a photography camp is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for young photographers to learn from true professionals and see how they work on the spot. Master photographers and nature teachers will also give a detailed explanation of the wild animals and plants that are indigenous to the region. The spectacular mountains, forests, and glaciers of Tibet create an enchanting view that will inspire photographers. During their stay in the camp, participants will go to the areas where they can take pictures of rare animals and plants such as the Tibetan Cypripedium or red goral. Such a vacation will certainly leave more new memories than a mere stay at a hotel in Tibet.

The new camp is just a part of the global initiative of Songtsam. The company wants to open several nature centers will be also hosting events of the Youth Wildlife Photography Training Camps. There will be four nature centers in total in Shangri-La, Jingdong, Namcha Bawa, and Bome. Songtsam hotels in Bome and Namcha Bawa already have trained staff that know the region well since they live in the nearby villages.

After photography shoots in the wildlife, guests can return to the hotel and enjoy the gourmet cuisine and comfort of a luxury hotel. As the nature centers are located in different locations, travelers can choose the natural wonders that they like the most, from rainforests to snow-capped mountains.
