Salzburg Cube

From the series “Most Curious Artifacts of Extraterrestrial Origin”
In the 19th century the scientists around the world were astonished at the discovery of the famous physicist Friedrich Adolf Gurlt. In 1885 he discovered 'the strange metal meteorite' with the shape of the parallelepiped. The meteorite was distinguished by its very unusual form; On four sides of the parallelepiped were the deep sections.

The fossil meteorite of the unusual regular shape was discovered by a local factory worker in the lignite patch. The artifact with the weight of 785 grams was immediately handed over to the scientists. According to the first assumptions, the researchers have proposed a theory on meteorite land treatment. It has not been possible to clarify who and what the regular edges have applied to the meteorite.

The version on his extraterrestrial origin was … Read all

Manchester Airport Gets a Hotel

Wellness travel has been a hit in the US in recent years but the trend is not so big in Europe. IHG hopes that by opening more hotels like EVEN it will increase awareness and popularity of wellness in the UK. Although the hotel is located near to the airport, the distance to such important objects as top universities and colleges, cultural landmarks, and natural attractions is also short. Tax-free outlets are a cherry on top of the pie. To make it more comfortable for guests to get to and from the airport, the hotel has a free shuttle service and a free parking lot. Read this

Tourists, who came to Vienna, are captured by the unique festive atmosphere right from the arrival. Besides public holidays Vienna is full of various national celebrations. As a … Read more
