Look at the City, sitting in a Funicular Car

The funicular is one of the public transport modes of Zagreb. It has been open every day since 1890. The funicular has only 2 stations. They are the Upper and Lower Towns. The distance between them is 66 meters. It consists of 2 small blue cars. They are designed for 28 passengers. There are 12 seats in it. The funicular moves at intervals of 10 minutes. It is considered one of the steepest funiculars on the planet because of the slope of 52%. You will get into a wagon at one of the stations. You will reach the second station in just 1 minute 4 seconds. You can admire the beauty of the city during the trip, being at an altitude of 30 meters.

Climb to Lotrščak Tower Observation Deck

The majestic Lotrščak Tower is located near the station of the Zagreb funicular. It has the form of a square. The tower was originally intended to guard one of the entrances to the city. If you go up the spiral staircase to the observation deck, you will see the city from a height and take pictures of its attractions. If you drive 10 kilometers north from Zagreb, you will get to a ski resort. It is equipped with special cannons that produce snow. It's called Sljeme. The resort is open to the public from December to April. There is Mountain Medvednica here. There are 4 tracks on it. They have different degrees of complexity. Their total length is 4 kilometers. You can go skiing on each of them at night. Lighting is provided here. You will pay 15 euros for one day spent at that resort.
