Climate in Croatia and weather forecast - best seasons for visit
Spring in Croatia comes in strict accordance with the calendar. Already in the first days of March, despite the fact that there are occasional minor cold snaps, the climate gets warmer all over the country. At the start of April, the warm weather becomes stable. The average temperature in the country is recorded at 22°C, and only in the South does the temperature rarely rise above 13°C. It is warmer in May. In the resort cities, the daytime air temperature is at least 25°C, and the water has enough time to warm up to between 19 and 21°C. The summer season experiences a slight increment in temperature which differs from that of the month of May with an average of 2-3°C. During the day, temperature is about 27°C and at night, not less than 18°C. The water in the sea reaches a record high of 25°C. The duration of daylight is at its maximum during this period. However, short-term rains are frequent throughout the resort area of Croatia.
