Las Vegas is a city where every day 150 couples give promises of their mutual eternal faithfulness, where dreams are born and where Elvis is still alive. The city becomes a part of you as soon as you step on its land. Las Vegas, which in Spanish means "pasture", is located in the 36th state, Nevada. Nevada, or, as it is often called, the "Silver State", can be proud of the fastest population growth in the U.S. The majority of people reside in Las Vegas. However, the capital of the state is not Las Vegas, as many mistakenly believe, but Carson City.
Bellagio Fountains
Bellagio Fountains (show on map ) are, as many people say, the best and absolutely free attraction of Las Vegas. The fountains can make a huge impression on visitors who see them for the first time. From 15:00 to 24:00, Monday to Friday, huge jets of water rise up to 152m in height, turning this into a real performance. The magnificent spectacle is accompanied by music, and jet fountains “move” in unison with it. On weekends, the show starts on 12:00 and continues until 24:00.

Volcano.
The eruption of the volcano is another very popular and very entertaining Vegas attraction. In front of the Mirage Hotel you will find a real crater that is quite calm during the daytime, but that starts to boil and bubble after dark. After this the volcano starts spewing streams of fire and lava every 15 minutes. The performance is supported by sounds of a real volcano eruption. The show looks very natural and very impressive.
