Niagara Falls The main spot of tourist interest in the city is the Niagara Fall being a unique natural landmark which is currently well known in every nook of the globe. The suburbs of the water fall are equipped with observation platforms and terraces open for tourists to enjoy the sight of the grand natural water creation. The most famous observation platform is considered to be the Table Rock. A few centuries ago there was a huge flat stone considered to be a sacred place by the Indians where they held different rituals.

Another symbol of the city is the so called Rainbow Bridge. The bridge is constructed over the water fall and joins the American and Canadian parts of the city.

In the North American city, you can find wonderful religious sites like St. Mary of the Cataract R.C. Parish built in the middle of the 19th century. This one features an original architecture, which attracts many tourists. However, its interior decoration is no less remarkable and certainly worth appreciating. The church’s spire was erected in such a way as to be equal in height to Niagara Falls. Magnificent fountains and statues can be seen in front of the shrine. Another outstanding church is the First Presbyterian Church built in 1849 and expanded in subsequent years (1879, 1904, and 1921). Architects inspired by the Gothic Revival wanted to create a wonderful jewel of this style - and they succeeded.
Niagara Falls - A peculiar attraction is the Schoellkopf Power Station built in 1853 and later expanded two times - in 1898 and 1924. In 1956, a disaster happened - two stations (3c and 3b) collapsed into the Niagara River, thus destroying two-thirds of the station and six generators. Only 3A station was used until 1962 (at partial capacity) and eventually demolished in the same year. Today you can see the remains of the former greatness of the engineering structure. Fans of industrial photography consider this spot to be their favorite in Niagara.
The 3rd Street is known for wonderful graffiti deserving the attention of every passer-by. In total, the so-called Art Alley has 19 paintings by local street artists who created their works in 2016. It is also worth taking a walk through Old Falls Street framed by shops and restaurants and famous for its peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, it changes for holidays and festivals - this is where the bulk of the events in Niagara take place. It'd also be interesting to stroll through the small Little Italy quarter.
Sunset at Niagara Falls Well, not only beautiful streets and parks are worthy of being explored - Oakwood Cemetery Heritage Foundation is a great alternative to them in Niagara Falls. This is a quiet and peaceful place with beautiful small chapels, tombstones, and crypts - real works of sculptural art. The cemetery is historic - many figures who have made a significant contribution to the development of the city are buried here. Walking along Ontario Ave, one cannot but pay attention to a small colorful house - Prophet Isaiah's Second Coming House. Interestingly, here you can find symbols of various religions - from Christianity to Hinduism.
