Another popular historical site is Livadia Palace that was built at the beginning of the 20th century too. In the 19th century, the first royal residence was built at the site of the palace. The wonderful Massandra Palace is a monument in French style. It was built for Count Vorontsov. The palace had not been finished when the count lived. Consequently, it was being built under the guidance of Emperor Alexander III.
