Climate in Croatia and weather forecast - best seasons for visit
Croatia has two main climatic zones: continental with temperate continental climate, and a Mediterranean one. Winter in Croatia is warm with lots of snow while summer is characterized by hot but comfortable weather and warm water in the Adriatic Sea. The duration of the holiday season here is one of the longest in Europe. In December, the country is warm enough so the beginning of winter here as reflected in calendar dates is fairly symbolic. In this month, there are about 17 sunny days and an average temperature of 13°C. But in the meanwhile, first frosts are witnessed in the eastern part of the country.
