The Clifton Bridge still is one of the main symbols of the city, from the moment of the beginning of the bridge construction it is one of the large hanging bridge all over the world. The start of its construction was in 1836, the creator of the unique bridge project was Isambard King Brunel – a talented architect. But only in 1864 the bridge construction was fully completed. The length of the bridge was 230 meters, that’s why it became the inimitable world record for the middle of the 19th century. The ancient Cabot’s tower is an interesting object. It’s named for the one famous English seaman.
