Preserved history of Norway: long-standing and ancient hotels

Molde Ferry A very unusual hotel can be found in the coastal town of Alesund in the west of Norway. It is located on the La Molja Lighthouse which has stood at the entrance to the harbor for more than a century and a half. It belongs to the hotel complex “Brosundet”. Room 47 is the only room available for the reception of guests. The hotel has 2 stories: the first floor is occupied by a hallway and a bathroom, and the second, by a living room. The hotel on the La Molja lighthouse is very popular among newlyweds and couples in love. The sound of crashing waves, the yell-like screams, the ships sailing on the sea, create a unique romantic atmosphere for those who want to be on their own and alone with each other.
