By the number of entertainment, Alanya is not inferior to other Turkish regions. Many hotels have their own water parks, where other tourists are allowed for a fee. Dim Cave is located in the north-east of Alanya. This is the second largest cave in Turkey, the oldest and, according to many who visited it, the most beautiful. To enter the cave you must pay 15 lire. Moreover, you will be allowed to take photos and videos here. If you traveled to Alanya with a partner, be sure to visit the cave of Lovers. Here every couple must follow the ancient ritual to strengthen the relations by passing the cave through, and then, with holding hands to jump from the cliff and gain eternal love. And the last cave you must see here is the Phosphoric, the arches of which slightly glow in the dark. According to one version, this is due to a small amount of phosphorus in the rocks of the cave. According to another version: the cave glows from the inside because the water has a reflection on the caves' walls.

Attractions and entertainment in Turkey

Backpacking tours have become increasingly popular with both locals and tourists. A tour to the mountains that lasts one to several days gives tourists many unforgettable memories and incredible landscapes. For a long time, the famous Lycian Way was the only trail available to tourists. Nowadays, many coastal towns have become bigger in size, the infrastructure of the region is changing, and so big parts of the way disappear. Because of that, new trails are being made in Turkey. They recreate ancient roads, so they are no less interesting than the Lycian Way. Saint Paul Trail is 500 km long. It stretches in the central part of the country and covers such famous landmarks as magnificent deep canyons and crystal clear Egirdir Lake. The Kackar trail stretches almost near the border with Georgia, in the territory of the ancient Queen Tamara’s Kingdom. Besides breathtaking mountains, there are ruins of Armenian and Georgian churches. Sultan Trail follows the route of Suleiman the Magnificent and ends in Austria. It is possible to explore this trail by bicycle and see everything in detail. Of course, there are many other interesting trails for active tourists. … Open
