In Birch Creek, Michigan has also appeared a mysterious fault which length is 180 meters and depth 1.2 meters. It has formed on a flat terrain where for a long time was a forest. Nature there looks quite unusual. It seems that the earth under the ground has flied up, that’s why the trees from the right side and the left side are bent on different sides for about 30 degrees.
Eileen Heider whose house is near the fault was the first who saw this mysterious phenomenon. Locals say that in that evening when the unusual phenomenon has happened, all heard a strange noise and felt light earthquakes. Later the researchers found that the earth has raised for 3-4 meters in a short period of time. It is important to say that the area has never had any gas pipelines and other systems of communications under the ground.
Rick Gebhardt is a man who best of all got interested in this. He made detailed photos of the rift and sent them in various government agencies. He wanted to get any information about the phenomenon. However, until nowadays the scientists can’t find any real reason for the surprise rise of the soil. Some researchers claim that this area has an earth' break up, that’s why small earthquakes and stress corrosion tracking are completely fulfilled. Maybe hundred years ago the same anomalies took place there but at that time they weren’t special emphasize.
