Milwaukee Hostels

This place with rich history is one of the largest U.S. cities. Milwaukee literally translates as "good earth". This name was given to the city by its first settlers from Indian tribes. In the end of the 19th century the main manufacturing in the city was brewing. Brewing began developing under the influence of German immigrants who invaded the town in the middle of the century. Until the mid-20th century Milwaukee was a leading beer producer in the world. Even today one of the oldest plants still works in its territory. Travellers can also feel the atmosphere of the last century in numerous taverns and bars of the city.
