Another well-known youth event, the Festival of reggae, is held in Uppsala too. It is the biggest event of its kind in Scandinavia. The very first music festival was held in summer of 2001. Initially, a few hundred people were taking part, but by 2005 the number of regular guests of the festival has increased to 10,000.
