» The observation platform is 100 m higher than the platform of the Petronas Twin Towers.
» The TV Tower is located on a hilltop. Near it, there is a small reserve and a zoological garden where an unusual turtle with two heads and albino animals dwell.
» The tower is legally used by basejumpers.
» The illumination of the tower is unique and impressive. This is why the tower is called “the garden of light”.

Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur

Railway Station, Kuala Lumpur

» The Railway Station in Kuala Lumpur is one of the 10 most beautiful stations in the world. Due to its fabulous architectural style, it looks like a mosque.
» The railway station was built in 1910 by an English architect Arthur Benison Hubback.
» When it was confirmed that the building of the station is a city attraction and requires a more careful attitude, it was decided to build a new railway station.
» It was opened as the Railway Museum after the restoration in 2007, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Independence. Here, you can see old railway technology.
» Some part of the building is still serving as a suburban station.
» However, the old railway station is more an architectural attraction.

Aquaria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

Location on the map:
Facts: » The Aquaria KLCC is an oceanarium located at the lower level beneath the Petronas Towers. Its total area is 5 500 m2. 20 000 sea dwellers live here at two levels.
» If you go down to a lower level, you will see marine fishes in a cylindrical illuminated aquarium.
» There is also a 90-meter tunnel with a travelator that will let you stand still and admire sea animals behind the glass. The glass is 5.5 cm thick and visually reduces the size of animals by 3 times.
» To see fearful animals, you can push your head in a special aquarium with a concave hole.
» The oceanarium also offers a lot of other entertainments. Those who have permission can dive in an aquarium with sharks. Others can do it only in a special cell. Diving for newlyweds and “the night with sharks” (children spend two days and nights in the oceanarium) are also offered.

»  The construction was completed in 1988. At that time, a new attraction - a thirty-storey skyscraper that is 244 m high - was constructed in the city.
»  Until the Petronas Twin Towers were built in 1995, the Maybank Tower was the highest building in the city.
»  Architects of the tower have managed to combine a Malay color, energy, and ascetic modesty. This is harmonious incompatibility, as two geometrical forms merged into one and form a coherent whole.
»  Originally, the project suggested that the Maybank Tower would have had the shape of a traditional Southeast Asian dagger. The tower floor consists of two square blocks locking each other on one of the corners. Each of the two blocks has a roof and a foundation tilted to the opposite side. Their middle parts are perpendicular.
