The dry-cargo ship has an outstanding story of the building. It was built in 1941 and was named Saxon Star 2. This dry cargo ship was built at the Harland & Wolff Ltd shipyard, where the Titanic was built. During the war, this cargo was used for transportation of wounded soldiers. From 1946 until 1958 it was used as a cargo shipping. In 1959 the cargo ship was sold to the Greece company and renamed in "Evangelia".
