The top floor has several magnificent restaurants and entertainment venues, that are open for everybody.
The inner decoration of the building has a lot of glass things. There you can see glass staircases and different separation walls. First floors of the skyscraper are open for tourists. St Mary Axe lay claim to the first ecological skyscraper in the world. It was named like the street Saint Mary Axe where it is located. Apart from the glass façade, the building has a unique peculiarity – it has no angles. It makes the building resistant to the gush of wind.
For 180 meters high skyscraper were used about 5,5 thousand diamond-shaped glass units. They provide the building with an ideal soundproofing and conserve the energy. The façade has special window wells that provide the natural ventilation. The glass units are filmed that increases the level of the heatproof.
