The majestic castle Castello San Materno rising on a hill and seeming impregnable is another attractive tourist attraction. Over long years of its existence, the medieval Romanesque monument of architecture has experienced many changes - from expanding in the 1850s to a complete abandonment in 1919. Local authorities could not allow such a historically important object to just disappear, so it was decided to transfer it to state ownership already in 1987. The castle was finally restored in 2014, and today it houses a museum with a rich collection of Medieval fine art. The most interesting relic is the remains of the fresco Majestas Domini.

So, one should never pass by the Chiesa di San Francesco built in 1536 on the site of an older building. Originally, the church was a monastery. The 17th century brought the shrine an expansion in the form of side chapels and a balcony, the mid-19th century brought closure, and at the beginning of the 20th century, the building began to serve another function: there were a warehouse and barracks here. Today, the traditional building made of gray stone pleases tourists and locals not only with its beautiful exterior, but also with the opportunity to pray - just like in the good old days when it performed its original function.

Another shrine deserving special mention is Chiesa San Vittore that was rebuilt several times, changing its appearance. Initially, there was a basilica built at the turn of the 5th and 6th century on its site. However, by the end of the 11th century, it was decided to rebuild the church in the Romanesque style. An important moment in the history of the shrine is the attachment of a Romanesque crypt, which happened in the middle of the 12th century. Today, it is the main treasure of the church due to being well-preserved. The need to repair the building appeared in the 16th century, and the last reconstruction was carried out in 1932.
