Santa Caterina Valfurva, Italy

In Italy it is possible to recommend to the followers of the extreme skiers the picturesque short Santa Caterina Valfurva, which is located on the crest of Cresta Sobretta. Most of the pistes, which are at the disposal of the skiers at this resort, are 'red'. Neither are the supporters of the nerve kitzel also bored. The experienced athletes arrive at the health resort mainly because of the slopes of Cevedale, which is a crossroads of one of the World Cup Stacks.
The difficult descent with a lot of steep slopes is considered one of the most dangerous in Italy. There are two interesting 'black' pistes - Adler and Bucaneve. The tiny spa town of Santa Caterina Valfurva is situated in the wonderfully beautiful area of the Stelvio National Park. From all sides the spa town is surrounded by picturesque forests, which are incredibly interesting for the winter ski tours. In the summer these spots are found as for hiking and cycling.
