Eiger Run, located on the territory of the health resort Grindelwald in Switzerland, has been recognized as one of the most dangerous ski slopes. There is almost no signposting on the slopes, which are steep on the sharp curves and descents. It is also crossed by railroad tracks in some places. According to the official data, there were no lethal accidents on the ski slope up to the present time. The unofficial data, however, speak for the contrary.
The representatives of the Autoklub ADAC from Germany recently evaluated the ski slope condition. They designated Eiger Run as 'broken' and unusable for skiing. If you do not know exactly the location of the railroad tracks, you can stumble over it. And this is one of the many dangers the skiers can encounter here.
At present, the dangerous runway under the leadership of the Jungfrau Railroad, whose specialists claim that there are enough warning signs on the ski slope. The skiers, who are skiing for the first time on Eiger Run, should do the best with the guide. Here one can literally stumble on flat ground and be seriously injured. And the reason for this is not slippery ice, but the old railroad tracks.
