Alnwick Garden Treehouse, United Kingdom

From series “Ubelievable Residential Houses Residing on Trees”
The main attraction of the British town of Alnwick is a park with the same name, on the territory of which you can see many interesting objects. Among them, is the largest Treehouse in the world. The cost of the huge construction is 3.3 million pounds sterling. In fact, the huge house is a real complex, which includes a restaurant, a shop and even a private dining room.

Alnwick Garden Treehouse, United Kingdom The Alnwick water garden was founded in 1996 on the site of an older garden. For a free visit the garden became available relatively recently, in 2002. In addition to the huge treehouse, guests will have an opportunity to see beautiful fountains, water sculptures and wonderful brooks. The pride of the garden is a huge collection of plants, which has 65000 specimens. One of the most unusual places of the garden and park complex is the so-called Garden of Poison. Here, the most poisonous and toxic plants in the world are collected.

The founders of the beautiful modern park are the Duke and the Duchess of Northumberland. They ordered the construction of a huge house on trees. Currently, one of its main attractions is a restaurant, which can accommodate up to 120 guests at a time. It is often used for celebrations and banquets. Also visitors of the unusual sight will have an opportunity to relax in a cosy bar and stroll around the surrounding bridges, from which it is very convenient to admire the panorama of the surroundings.
