The Choral Synagogue in Moscow is also of great interest from an excursion point of view. It was built on Ivanovskaya Gorka in 1891. The official opening of the synagogue took place only in 1906. Lazar Polyakov is the founder of this religious institution. He was Chairman of the Jewish community in Moscow in 1886. He bought a small plot of land at his own expense. Construction of the synagogue began there soon.

The famous architect Roman Klein took part in the development of the building's design and the formation of its interior design. The Choral Synagogue in Moscow is a major cultural center today.
