The amazing museum is located in Moscow. It is dedicated to the life and work of the famous Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov. This museum is located on 10 Bolshaya Sadovaya Street (or Big Garden Street). The apartment where the writer lived once became the museum. Mikhail Bulgakov and his wife moved to this building in 1921. There were only communal apartments in it at this time. The writer occupied only one room.

The opening of the museum in this old house took place recently, in 1990. You can see a lot of personal belongings of the writer, his beautiful portraits, as well as interesting antiques dating back to the first half of the 20th century. The museum occupies all the rooms of the former communal apartment today. A thematic exhibition is located in each of the rooms. Even the large corridor of the former communal apartment is not empty. It is actively used for various thematic exhibitions.

Literary evenings and other themed events are often held in the museum. It is also a regular meeting place for representatives of the Bulgakov discussion club. Beautiful bronze sculptures and lanterns are installed today at the entrance of the building, where the cherished apartment number 50 is located. An interesting surprise is also waiting for museum visitors outside the entrance door. An interesting artistic painting based on the works of Bulgakov adorns the walls of the corridors in the entrance. Antique furniture, beautiful vintage items, and hats, collections of old books, and personal belongings of the writer – this is the basis of the exhibition of this amazing museum. The most valuable and interesting exhibits are located in the room where the writer lived.
