In Budva there is situated beautiful Podostrog Monastery, its history is full of interesting events. It was the place of numerous battles for many years from the foundation. At the beginning of the 19th century the Austrians almost burnt down the monastery, but it was rebuilt very soon. In 1979 the historic building suffered a lot of damage from the earthquake, its complete restoration was possible only by 1995. There is a small museum behind the monastery walls today where you can find the traditional religious attributes and attractive antique ornaments.
Budva The Old Library is the most famous cultural centre in the town and a part of the complex including the Archaeological Museum and Art Gallery.
