One more amazing hotel, Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road is open in a restored building of the colonial period. This hotel is located in the picturesque neighborhood of Kampong Glam. The design of guest rooms is a paragon of contemporary style, while public areas are reminiscent of a history museum. Exhibits of the “museum” are quite original and diversified. Among elements of design, one can notice old suitcases and photo cameras, retro typing machines and phones, and even a large wooden cart. Both the hall and restaurant of the hotel feature beautiful handmade wooden furniture.

One of the most authentic and original historic hotels in Singapore, Naumi Liora Hotel , is open in Chinatown. It occupies a posh townhouse that was built in the 20s of the previous century. It’s impossible not to notice the façade of the building with tiny windows and skillfully carved shutters. Guest rooms look incredibly harmonious with wonderful contemporary furniture and classy accessories in the national style, such as wooden folding panels, elegant Chinese lanterns, and big paintings with floral motifs.
