In 1939, the letters were illuminated with four thousand bright lights, and a piece of the land on which the letters stood has officially become part of Los Angeles. In 1978, the sign was completely renovated, and well-known musicians, including Ellis Cooper, Gene Autry, and Paul Williams, became sponsors of the “reconstruction”. Today, the sign is controlled by a special non-governmental organization formed in 1995 - “Hollywood Sign Trust”.

Besides the large-scale sign, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is another vivid symbol of Hollywood, a walk along which is a dream of many travelers. Walking along the boulevard, you can see more than 2,000 shining bronze stars engraved with the names of famous actors, musicians, and TV hosts. The list of interesting Hollywood symbols does not end here - it is the birthplace of the famous ice cream "C.C. Brown", which is still very popular among those having a sweet tooth. Hollywood never ceases to attract tourists with its original attractions. A special atmosphere and the abundance of symbolic objects located on its territory make traveling even more fascinating.
