Riva Lofts Hotel, Italy

From series “Best industrial-style loft hotels”
The hotel Riva Lofts Florence is located in Florence. It is the owner of many honorary awards. It has been repeatedly called the best in the city for its unique atmosphere of comfort and unique interior. The hotel was set up in an old textile factory. It was built in 1834. Looms were located in the large rooms of this factory in the past. The premises were taken over by local artisans after the factory closed. They set up their workshops here. The rental of premises in a historic building was quite inexpensive.

Riva Lofts Hotel, Italy However, the building remained in the status of a craft center for a short time. It was empty for a long time before the hotel was opened in it. Famous Italian architect Claudio Nardi worked on the design of the hotel. His daughter Alicia was his main assistant in this project. It was possible to preserve the original design elements as much as possible during the reconstruction of the building. Some rooms have a fireplace. Some apartments have a terrace.

There is a chic garden around the hotel. It is equipped with beautiful recreation areas with benches and hammocks in the warm season. Leisure facilities include swimming pools, sun terraces, and equipped barbecue areas. It is hard to imagine that such a wonderful country-style hotel is located in the heart of a lively Italian city. The Florence hotel is very popular with those who like to relax in a rural setting. There are many interesting places for hiking nearby. Guests can also rent bicycles to ride around the city. Top destination around Riva Lofts Hotel - Florence

Nowadays, the population of the city is approximately 356,000 people. Florence is a unique and unforgettable city, a kind of a museum in the open air. This city is not the best choice for travellers who are searching for diversified nightlife. However, Florence would become the best choice if you want to feel the atmosphere of the past and the charm of a truly unique culture.

Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio).
The old bridge over the Arno River named Ponte Vecchio is known as one of the main places of interest in Florence. The image of the bridge can be found in almost all the postcards featuring Florence and its sights. This bridge is one of the main tourist places of interest of the city. By the way, Ponte Vecchio is also the oldest bridge in Florence, on either side of which visitors will see rows of medieval buildings. One can notice the bridge only when standing directly on it. At that time, there was so little space inside the city walls that houses were built everywhere, even on bridges. Ponte Vecchio is the best proof. Nowadays, this is the place where visitors can buy gold, silver, and jade, and enjoy the view from the bridge to the Arno. In the centre of the Ponte Vecchio, visitors will find a monument dedicated to Benvenuto Cellini, a famous sculptor and jeweller. He was considered the person who embodied pride and glory of Florence.
