The Chelsea hotel is a real New York City landmark. It is located in the quarter of the same name. It occupies a beautiful 13-story building. It was built in 1884. Dark red brick served as the main building material for the construction of this building. The spectacular historical building also has unique Gothic features. The housing cooperative was located in the building until 1905. It was decided to open a luxury hotel in it later. It is considered one of the most mystical in the world today.

Chelsea has become a favorite vacation place of Bohemia immediately after opening. Many outstanding artists lived and worked in it. There are rooms where O. He lived in room 205. He drank 18 shots of whiskey one night. The poet was taken to the hospital. But his life could not be saved.

Andy Warhol's famous film "The Chelsea Girls" was shot in a hotel. The well-known artist Alpheus Cole was one of the main "characters" of the hotel. He lived in one of the rooms until his death. He died at the age of 112. Many amazing legends are associated with the historic hotel today. The hotel staff and regular guests claim that it is haunted. The names of hundreds of American celebrities are associated with this hotel in one way or another. The history of Chelsea is rich and unique.
