Belarus Department Store is also a real historic landmark—it opened in 1978. The first floor of the mall houses a few perfume shops, a large crockery shop, and an electronics store. The second floor is fully occupied by shops selling men’s clothes, while the third floor has shops with women’s and children’s clothes. On the fourth floor, you can visit shops selling household goods, interesting souvenirs, and jewellery.
Many travellers consider Zamok the best shopping mall in Minsk. It offers visitors a large choice of not only shops, but also entertainments. It houses a modern cinema, ice rink, various playgrounds for kids, cafes, and pizza restaurants. On the first floor, there’s a large supermarket where you can buy all common groceries. The shopping mall offers all possible kinds of goods: from various home accessories and electronics to the most fashionable clothes and jewellery.

The main distinctive feature of the Stolitsa shopping mall is its underground location—it’s situated right under Independence (Nezalezhnasti) Square. The three-storey mall houses over a hundred shops, including shops with the best Belarusian manufactures, different souvenir stands, traditional clothing and footwear stores, and shops with children’s goods.
