Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is situated between two cities in the U.S. state of Washington, which are Tacoma and Seattle. It is a large commercial air terminal of the state. It is both passenger and cargo one. The airport services roughly 47 million people a year. It was built and put into operation in 1944. In 1949, when the airport started handling international flights, it received the status of the international airport. The airport encompasses the main passenger terminal building, 2 satellite terminal buildings, and 3 runways. The satellite terminals are the North Satellite Terminal and the South Satellite Terminal. The Main Terminal is divided into 4 concourses, which are A, B, C, and D. The North and South Satellite Terminals are connected to the Main Terminal by an underground people mover system.

You can get from the airport to the cities of Seattle and Tacoma by light rail (pick-up at the fourth level of the parking garage), buses with a change to metro, transit express buses (to the adjacent localities and Canada), shuttles, taxi (contact information can be found at the third level of the parking garage), or rental cars.
