The majestic Théâtre Capitole that was first opened to the public in 1903 is now a delightful place to satisfy aesthetic and spiritual needs. The architect who worked on its construction was Walter Painter, and today the building pleases the eye with its magnificence and gorgeous appearance - it seems that nobles might live here. But it is worth noting that they lived in houses like Maison Henry-Stuart. Everything contributes to this: authentic household items, interior and exterior, as well as a beautiful English garden planted around the mansion.
Another historical monument worthy of the attention of all tourists is Le Musée de la Civilization. This complex includes several buildings: La Maison Historique Chevalier built in 1752 that looks like a typical New France building with magnificent antique elements and furniture, Le Musée de l'Amérique Francophone, thanks to which you can learn the history of the region’s formation, Le Musée de la Place-Royale representing the remains of Hazeur historic house with its well-preserved facade, and Le Center National de Conservation et d'Études des Collections where an excellent collection of antique objects can be found.
