Moulin des Jesuites du Trait-Carre is another remarkable place in the capital of Quebec, a real journey through time. This is an authentic village where time seems to flow completely differently. Here you can get acquainted with the traditional way of life of the local people's ancestors in a pleasant atmosphere. In addition, thematic exhibitions and interesting events are often held in the mill. Tourists are encouraged to visit the Musée Miniature de l'Architecture to feel like Gulliver, seeing the most significant sights of Quebec and other cities (Dubai, New York, Montreal), as a kind of toys.
An important object in the tourist route of Quebec CIty is the Basilique Cathedrale, which is considered the main religious attraction of Quebec City and the oldest temple in the region. The beginning of construction works was scheduled for 1647, and the first mass was held here in 1650. However, the building was destroyed twice: in 1759, during the bombing of the UK, and in 1922, when the shrine has suffered from a fire. But it has always been reborn from the ashes like a Phoenix, and today it's a symbol of fortitude and hope that a period of enlightenment always comes after dark times. After the restoration in 1930, you can see the shrine in the neo-classical style.
