The Penkenbahn is another popular ski lift. Its route starts from the terminal at the southern end of Hauptstrasse. The cable car is open from May to October and from December to April. You can climb the slopes of the Penken massif using it. The routes of three valleys start from there. You can return to the city from here by the same cable car or by the red tracks via Finkenberg and Hippach. The bus runs regularly from here to Mayrhofen.
