Although Japan receives several million tourists from all over the world annually, there are also the unexplored and unknown public places on its territory. An excellent example of this is the village of Ogasawara-Mura, which is situated on the territory of the prefecture of the same name. The village is located in beautiful fairground, on the coast. Its guests can admire the unspoilt beaches with fairy-shaped stone arches and the lagoons with turquoise waters.
It is very difficult to get to the distant village independently. Usually, the traveler services take the local guide and drive to the village by car. This fairy-tale area is sure to please the nature lovers and those who want to get to know the life and culture of Ogasawara's locals. The area of the village is quite large and covers 104 square kilometers, although the population is relatively small and about 2,800 people.
During a hike through the picturesque area you can see many rare plants and flowers, as well as some bird species, which live exclusively on the Bonin Islands. One of the landmarks of the village is the tiny lagoon beach, separated from the sea by the unusual stone arch of the regular form. This remarkable stretch of coast is surrounded by the green hills, from which one can admire the beautiful photos.
