Bread Museum, Russia

From series “Strange, Weird and Unusual Museums Amusing its Visitors”
The Kremlin in Ismailovo is one of the most interesting sights of Moscow. More than three hundred years ago the Tsar's Residency, which served as a prototype for the complex of beautiful wooden buildings with domes, was located here. There are some interesting museums in this fairy-tale 'Schloßhof', including the Museum of Bread, which is probably one of the most original museums in the world.

Bread Museum, Russia In the museum you can see and buy not only the bread, the rolls and the loafs of different shapes and sizes but also the collection of the unique historical exhibits. In one of the museum sheds, the instruments of work from the 19th century were presented, which were used by the farmers to order the wheat fields. Next door you can see the old crockery in which the women had the dough, and even the old oven in which the bread was baked.

The bread museum in Ismailowo is interactive. Here the interesting thematic events and master classes, including the interesting events for the children, are regularly performed. The museum guests can make the beautiful pictures from the salty dough, the real tulip peppermint and the aromatic bread bake, as well as in the special store the loaf after the old Russian recipe bought loaf. The economical tourists will look forward to the price of the ticket, which is just a bit higher than the price of a good bread roll. Next - National Museum of Pasta

The most popular and recognizable Russian capital landmark is still the Red Square.

It was established at the end of the 15th century and was initially called the Merchant Square as it was an established place for scale weekend fairs which attracted merchants from all over the country. The same significant symbol of the city is the Spasskaya Tower which was as well built at the end of the 15th century.
