Basilica de Salta has placed in the northern-western part of Argentina in a town Salta. This cathedral is also an outstanding landmark of the world meaning. The church has placed right in the centre of the town. It was beginning to build in 1856 at the place of the old that was destroyed by the earthquake. The cathedral building was finished in 1882, its façade has a tremendous decoration.
The inner decoration was made in the Baroque style. There were saved original stained-glass windows, columns, luxurious gilded altar and other elements of decoration. Today there works an interesting museum which collections include art collections and antique things. Their visitors can see wonderful antique furniture, pieces of national clothes, a great number of wonderful paintings and sculptures.
