In Chile, the most extreme is the town of San Pedro de Atacama. It is situated right in the barren Atacama Desert. The place is considered one of the driest sites in the world. San Pedro de Atacama is one of the few places in the country, where you can taste the real chili. It is grown in a very dry environment, so the pepper is incredibly hot. The main natural attraction of this place is the Moon Valley. That's an amazing desert region with numerous picturesque canyons and rock formations. Today, there are salt caves and canyons, as well as marvellous lagoons surrounded by desert landscapes. They look just incredible.
