On motorways, the limit is 110 or 130 km/h, depending on the type of the road. Note that all the restrictions mentioned are valid in case there are no road signs with other directions.
The maximum allowed blood alcohol content for drivers is 0.5 ‰. Drivers under 24 years old are prohibited from drinking alcohol at all. If you pass the alcohol test, and your blood alcohol content is from 0.5 to 1.0‰, then you will be issued a fine that will range from 1,000 to 2,000 kuna.
