Anton Ulrich museum is one of most amazing places of culture. It is named after its founder – the noble Herzog who founded his private museum in 1754. Herzog had a well-known collection of armory and pieces of art. First 100 years after the foundation of the museum the collection was displayed only for a narrow group of people. The official opening of the museum took place only in 1865. Nowadays the museum displays luxurious collection of furniture, centuries-old paintings and collector’s armory as well as precious interior decorations.
There are many unique sightseeing attractions in town, a great example of which is the Happy Rizzi House. It is a picturesque office area, which consists of nine modern buildings. These office buildings remind of fairy tale houses, because their sides are fully covered with colorful illustrations. Another unique feature of these houses is their windows. You wouldn’t be able to find a pair of similar windows. Exploring this architectural sightseeing attraction may take you forever. It is especially popular among tourists with children.
Braunschweighas a great number of interesting monuments. One of the most unique ones is a monument to the homeless cats. This monument was installed in 1981 and since then catches attention of viewers with its vividness. The monument is quite big and you can make many nice pictures in front of it.
