» The Court of Appeal is located on the eighth floor of the building apparently executed in form of a disk. This architectural detail isn’t accidental. The disc towering over the building is a modern interpretation of the dome that decorates the Old Supreme Court, but also symbolizes the impartiality of the judiciary.

» The Victoria Theatre built in 1861 is the complex of buildings of the Concert Hall and Theatre.
» The Theatre consists of two buildings constructed in Victorian style 40 years one after another.
» These buildings are connected to each other with the clock tower; they are considered the most striking examples of colonial architecture in Singapore.
» In 1992, both buildings were awarded the status of a national monument to the country.
» Currently the theater and concert hall regularly host classical music concerts, dramatic and dance performances.
