Preparing your trip to Belgrade: advices & hints - things to do and to obey
1. When you go for a walk in the city, you shouldn’t take valuable items and documents with you without any special need. In public places you can easily become a victim of fraudsters and pickpockets.
2. The best way to exchange money is to go to specialized banks and exchange offices. Do not use the services of private people no matter how beneficial the proposal of exchange sounds. There is a risk of losing your money.
3. Remote areas of the city should be visited only together with a guide or as a part of a group excursion. Do not stay in the city’s suburbs until late at night.
4. Travelers can safely participate in various promotions and public events dedicated to environmental or cultural issues. However, you shouldn’t interfere to political rallies and protests.
6. The majority of the beaches of the city are municipal, so you can enter their territory completely free. Fees may be applied only if you decide to rent beach equipment or sports equipment.
7. Use only purified water for drinking. You can purchase it in any local beverage shop or supermarket.

10. The power supply voltage is 220 V. All hotels are equipped with sockets of the European standard. Before you make a trip to Belgrade, make sure to check the compatibility of all electrical appliances, which you plan to take. Probably, you will need to bring special adapters.
11. Do not forget to leave tips in local restaurants and cafes. As a rule, tips do not exceed 10% of the total order. The tourists, who plan to travel around the city by taxi, should not forget to discuss the price of a ride with a driver in advance.

This building is a true landmark of Frogner, a historic neighborhood of the Norwegian capital.
