The Karymshin Volcano, the Russian supervolcano, is situated on the Kamchatka peninsula. Its eruption is also quite dangerous for the whole world. The caldera was found in 2007 but the last eruption was 1,3 million of years ago. Not so far from the caldera has placed a number of great volcanoes. Their high activity once can awake the supervolcano.

This dangerous caldera is situated on the territory of the unique biosphere national park that several years ago was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The main peculiarities of this park are numerous geysers, thermal areas, hot wells, and even mud pools which mud has unique health benefits. During the excursions, tourists can adore the wonderful lakes and waterfalls.

Travelers have to bear in mind that it is quite hard to get to the reserved areas. Excursion walks are possible only during the warm weather. Rainy weather became a reason of numerous landslides. Every landslide changes the landscape, it makes large dams and destroys natural dykes. People who have already been to Kamchatka see the similarities between the caldera of the Karymshin Volcano and the Yellowstone National Park. Actually, these areas are quite similar in dangerousness for the modern civilization.
